The markets of the future have changed in the Ruhr region in recent years. While the economy was characterised by the coal and steel industry for a long time, sectors such as resource efficiency, logistics, the digital economy and healthcare now dominate the economy in the Ruhr region alongside the industrial core. Skilled labour is urgently needed here. Highly qualified experts in technical sectors such as mechanical and automotive engineering, mechatronics, automation and electrical engineering are particularly in demand. However, skilled workers in healthcare and nursing professions are also in demand.
